Within the Hawaiian culture, sharks or mano hold a special significance. Since they are constantly loosing teeth with one ready just behind they are often depicted in this way on tapa cloth, tattoos, and other artistic portrayals.

Laser cut and recycled material, these bookmarks are laser cut from what would otherwise be scrap pieces. We work very hard to recycle the wood down to the last bit. So naturally the woods that make up these bookmarks have varied: koa, mango, albezia, monkeypod, bamboo, coconut, pheasant wood, and more.
